i thank God
for ALOT of things.
i think God is really an AMAZING GOD!
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9
i thank God for
-giving me friends around
...He sent ghislaine and qiwen to come tgt with me (especially ghis cos i know her the longest over here!)
...He sent all other singaporeans who are here, cos they're all so friendly (both main and lidcombe campus)
...He sent carolyn who's taking BHS, at least the first year we have the same modules
...He sent doohwan who's taking the same course as me, and also an intl student
...He sent jenny and becky, really nice cousins who are christians too!
...He sent ella, becky's friend, who's taking the SAME course!! and also a christian!!
-looking after me wherever i am
-daddy being here with me for 3 entire weeks!
-friends and family back home
...always praying for me and missing me<3
-a good timetable
...it's apparently quite relaxing and ends relatively early(:
-a roof over my head
...nth much to worry about cos most of the things are provided!
-being on a scholarship
...cos then i no need to worry too much on finances back home
-friendly ppl around uni
-always being here for me, reassuring me that no matter what, He's my fortress and deliverer and my help in times of need. i think God works in MARVELOUS ways.
do pray for me as i learn to live independently. i'm trying. trying to come out of my comfort zone, letting God use such opportunities to mould me and prepare me for greater works (hopefully!). it's difficult to get out, to be independent and yet continue to trust in our mighty God. it is difficult and many times i forget the purpose and reasons i've come to grasp of why i'm here. this'll not only be studies, but also a platform for me to grow, to become more like Christ. i really hope i'll not forget and lose my focus. a reminder once in a while, to keep me on track. and i thank God for little things such as these to remind and reassure me of His promises and love<3
