luke 6:27-38

"...even 'sinners' do that..."

i'm reminded of the other time when we had the discussion during bs and about how we want to be wary of how we speak and how we carry ourselves cos we want to be ambassadors for Christ. and also how we see some Christians acting worse than non-believers.

many times, i guess i've been too proud in thinking that i'm actually a not-bad Christian. i'm the good girl that everyone knows and all. i'm reminded here that actually what we do, even 'sinners' do that too. it's not the actions that matters, but the heart of it all.

we can do all the good things and yet, we don't love God. the heart and love for God basically differentiates us from non-believers.

of course, actions and thoughts/heart come hand in hand. we should be doing all that we are commanded to do BECAUSE we love God. and BECAUSE we love God, we should try our best to His ambassadors.

i just realised whatever i typed here is not exactly what i got from my own qt. it's similar yet different. but i know that the Spirit has led me to write it out this way, as a reminder for myself as well as an encouragement to you girls(:

the purpose of this blog is to encourage one another (through whatever means: simple notes, qt sharing, thanksgiving, prayer requests, whatsoever...) and to update each other about our lives and how God has been so real to us(: so do keep me posted even as i leave for australia k! i'll do just that as well. let us all together grow in our Lord Jesus Christ!

resolutions are meant to kept, so we shall be accountable to one another in keeping our resolutions k. i suggest a half year mark check to make sure we're on track(:
