hey girls, sorry i couldnt attend bible study today, gosh my flu is really killing me pluz the rainy weather here in singapore, i feel like my nose is dropping out.

i thank God for
-giving me friends around
...He sent ghislaine and qiwen to come tgt with me (especially ghis cos i know her the longest over here!)
...He sent all other singaporeans who are here, cos they're all so friendly (both main and lidcombe campus)
...He sent carolyn who's taking BHS, at least the first year we have the same modules
...He sent doohwan who's taking the same course as me, and also an intl student
...He sent jenny and becky, really nice cousins who are christians too!
...He sent ella, becky's friend, who's taking the SAME course!! and also a christian!!
-looking after me wherever i am
-daddy being here with me for 3 entire weeks!
-friends and family back home
...always praying for me and missing me<3
-a good timetable
...it's apparently quite relaxing and ends relatively early(:
-a roof over my head
...nth much to worry about cos most of the things are provided!
-being on a scholarship
...cos then i no need to worry too much on finances back home
-friendly ppl around uni
-always being here for me, reassuring me that no matter what, He's my fortress and deliverer and my help in times of need. i think God works in MARVELOUS ways.

do pray for me as i learn to live independently. i'm trying. trying to come out of my comfort zone, letting God use such opportunities to mould me and prepare me for greater works (hopefully!). it's difficult to get out, to be independent and yet continue to trust in our mighty God. it is difficult and many times i forget the purpose and reasons i've come to grasp of why i'm here. this'll not only be studies, but also a platform for me to grow, to become more like Christ. i really hope i'll not forget and lose my focus. a reminder once in a while, to keep me on track. and i thank God for little things such as these to remind and reassure me of His promises and love<3

There are 30 books of the Bible in this paragraph. Can you find them? This is a most remarkable puzzle. It was found by a gentleman in an airplane seat pocket, on a flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu, keeping him occupied for hours. He enjoyed it so much, he passed it on to some friends. One friend from Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Another friend studied it while playing his banjo. Elaine Taylor, a columnist friend, was so intrigued by it she mentioned it in her weekly newspaper column. Another friend judges the job of solving this puzzle so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help her nerves. There will be some names that are really easy to spot. That's a fact. Some people, however, will soon find themselves in a jam, especially since the book names are not necessarily capitalized. Truthfully, from answers we get, we are forced to admit it usually takes a minister or a scholar to see some of them at the worst. Research has shown that something in our genes is responsible for the difficulty we have in seeing the books in this paragraph. During a recent fund raising event, which featured this puzzle, the Alpha Delta Phi lemonade booth set a new record. The local paper, The Chronicle, surveyed over 200 patrons who reported that this puzzle was one of the most difficult they had ever seen. As Daniel Humana humbly puts it, "The books are all right here in plain view hidden from sight." Those able to find all of them will hear great lamentations from those who have to be shown. One revelation that may help is that books like Timothy and Samuel may occur without their numbers. Also, keep in mind, that punctuation and spaces in the middle are normal. A chipper attitude will help you compete really well against those who claim to know the answers. Remember, there is no need for a mad exodus; there really are 30 books of the Bible lurking somewhere in this paragraph waiting to be found. God Bless.

honestly, i really dont deserve this kinda thing, i mean like i always have and has been rude to her, and last week was like totally bad attitude to her.

oh, i.ve this weakness, when i get stress/ overstress myself, i get really fustrated and thus, BAD ATTITUDE! yeah.. and i dont know, was moody and all >:

so, she endured all those bad attitude, hardships? beating me? slapping me? so that what you see me now, is what she has moulded me into!

how is everyone?

hey girls! how is everyone? i'm already here for a week! can you believe it? things are starting to get better. and i'm starting to adjust to the place. but it's getting colder here each day. weird. cos it's supposed to be summer! HAHA! have been having academic skills lesson during this week. so maybe that helped in adjusting. when u're preoccupied with stuff, you have less things and time to think about. i'll be visiting my campus next week. hopefully it'll be fun!

hey girls,

i'll officially be in koala land in 16 hours time. btw, it seems that i can't touch koalas in NSW australia cos it's illegal to do so! haha. to touch/hug koalas, i'd need to go to queensland or sth.

time has passed so fast! i was once really looking forward to leaving, to a new experience in aussie. but as the date of departure approaches, somehow, the sense of excitement has slowly faded away and was replaced with nervousness, then fear, then apprehension. but i thank God for He is a faithful and unchanging God. and He knows exactly what we are going through.

I think i've shared with you all about the different verses that God has so graciously provided me with throughout this period of preparation. on how we should not fear for God is before us and all...

even as i go on a new chapter of my life, to experience more of God's good grace, may you all too experience the realness of God, to be able to rely on Him and trust in Him. I have come to know the difficulty of really trusting in God. we humans look too much for things that are tangible, that can bring 'tangible' comfort. we failed to fully trust in the One who can really bring us peace. though it may be difficult, i urge you not to give up trying, not to give up trusting.

pray for me even as i am away physically, but with you in heart and mind. i need alot of prayers even as i learn to adjust and adapt to a new surrounding, and getting to know new people. this is a HUGE change for me, so do keep me in your prayers.
1. good adjustment- to new environment, weather, people...
2. able to find a good church to settle in
3. good health
4. not compromise in my faith (be able to witness to others through my actions and not me being influenced by others..)
5. trust in God

i'll continue to update my prayer list. you all put up yours too k, so i can be praying for you too!

till i come back, i'll be thinking of each and every one of you daily. listen and be good to vera and constance k! don't bully them hor. remember to do your QT and bs materials ya. most of all, grow deep and strong in our Lord Jesus Christ!
